Lecture Hall Prank -a musical inspiration

This video is specially dedicated to my fellow classmates in masters for only they can relate when i say" i wish we had tried our musical talents like this with U KNOW WHO/ ONE WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED..:-p..
what say people ...abhi bhi time hai...lolzzz!!.

I wonder how it would have been , had this been our last lecture ...remember the "SERIOS DRAMA" that took place, just makes me laugh to think ..WHAT IF IT ALL HAD BEEN SAID THROUGH MUSIC "A MUSICAL PRANK" like this..:-)

DIWALI .....lighting up to life !!

Finally much awaited Diwali's here..... one can very well sense the energy and festivities in the air. People are running from one place to another , giving gifts , buying gifts...."patake" ..."phuljhari" and most of all "Diyas"adding to the beauty of world .

There's an energy that seems to liven up everything around you...this is what i like best about diwali. Leave aside the crackers, the mithai's ...its the lights..the beauty u sense around you. I love taking a walk around at diwali night just to see the beauty of lighting done by each family. Its an awsome sight...:-)

Though as in any festival these days ,i do feel even diwali has gone corrupted by consumeristic attitudes creeping into it. More than the feeling of camaraderie which used to exist before , its about showing off your status quo .Its more about who's done the best decorations..the best lights ..the expensive crackers...

I love simple old school crackers like phuljhari's , Anar ..etc but kids today love to buy bombs with weirdest of all names from "aloo bomb" "to "gobi bomb" with big bang sounds,.. pheww!!.The more high- tech these crackers are the more pollution causing too, at timesit becomes difficult to breathe in smoggy air after all celebrations are done with.
My cousins and friends alike call me "darpok" when i run to save my ear drums from boom bang sounds of these scary crackers..:-P..., coz for them its fun...the noisier the crackers the better.

But that's a personal choice i guess, let people enjoy with what they love as long as it doesn't harm anyone. I got my share of joys , new clothes , wishing friends and of course my share of mini- crackers and not to forget my lovely favourite diya's and lanterns.....
I am looking forward to my share of light this Diwali, so wishing you all too

Jab we saw "JAB WE MET"

I am a self -confessed movie buff , a first day first show freak mostly.
So when my friend nishanth asked how i liked Jab We Met, i thought since i have a blog now i may share my "movie gyaan"here for convenience of friends . I checked out Jab We Met recently infact not once but thrice....so much in the name of freindship you see..:-P

Anyways Jab we met is a cute love story by all means ...a true bollywood entertainer by virtue of good performances by its lead pair and backed by some amazing music.

It doesn't promise to be any different , no surprises whatsoever. But this is where i felt director Imtiaz Ali needs to be applauded for keeping the audiences hooked with not a single second of boredom. He's seemingly quite good with cute love stories ..something i would decipher from his previos movies like Socha Na Tha ,..Ahista Ahista.
Best part about this movie is its funny dialogues and powerhouse music specially true to punjabi energy . Infact as my friend was saying" i think yeh Nagada song pe isi energy se roz dance karna shuru kartey hai to diet, calorie weight control jaise cheezo ki koi tension nahi hogi" ..;)..lolzz!!

Thats a theory that still needs to be tested but well what has been tested and proven is that this movie's worth a watch for all those in love and even otherwise.

Finally a film where Shahid and Kareena share a chemistry..i guess part due to the split or whatever cause, they are a treat to watch together. Kareena isn't over the top somthing i have found buggin about her and well shahid has gone cuter mann...the serios looks suits him for sure.
Kudos to both actors for great job onscreen, keeping personal life crisis apart....i guess one would ask "isn't this what acting is all about"?


So sum total being all you people who haven't seen it as yet..go on watch it for some Mauja Mauja...

Sweet November

Yeah, it truly does...something so totally different happens everytime....i just love the idea of my birthday which is the foremost reason why i consider NOVEMBER my sweet ,lucky and happy month. I get excited just at the arrival of this month leave aside my birthday.Its another thing that my birthdays never end up as planned...though someone up there always makes sure it ends up special day(thankuuu!!) .

All in all november is one rocking month which marks the start of some real good times as i see it,... from diwali to christmas to new year and how can i not mention the arrival of my favourite chilly delhi winters...
